The Katadyn® Vario Microfilter is the only premium microfilter adjustable for different water conditions. The .2-micron filter element removes waterborne bacteria and cysts, while the replaceable activated carbon improves the taste and reduces chemicals, producing fresh-tasting, safe, potable water. A simple turn engages a ceramic pre-filter for longer filter life in dirty water, or you can use the “faster flow” mode to utilize the pleated-glass fiber filter under normal conditions. The dual pistons produce an impressive 2 lpm. The Vario Microfilter from Katadyn is compatible with most standard outdoor bottles and hydration bladders.
